β We are all a little weird and lifeβs a little weird, and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall in mutual weirdness and call it love.β

CEREMONY ONE
Sahana + Loganβs traditional Indian ceremony kicked off the first portion of the day with dancing, life + color! The morning light filtering in through the billowy fabric of the ceremonyβs mandap made these pictures next level stunning. See for yourself! Waking with the sun to prepare for this grand affair was absolutely worth it and you can easily see why in these captures alone! The words bright, lively, joyful and undeniably happy, perfectly describe Sahana + Loganβs first event of the day.
Okay, can we just say one thing, the attire + detailsβ¦

CEREMONY TWO
Sahana + Loganβs first ceremony was bright morning light and their second happened alongside a warm golden sun + afternoon ease. The soft texture of the pampas grass + Sahanaβs ethereal dress speak to the floaty, relaxed vibe the couple had in their presence. The arbor faced East for Indian tradition that receiving religious offerings, spiritual oaths, and vows are best taken facing east. We designed this arbor with Folie Γ Deux to symbolize their two lives + cultures becoming one. This is represented with half greens and half pampas grass threading into one gorgeous backdrop for their unity.
The pops of blue shine here in the second ceremony. The decision to go with different βmain popsβ of color for each ceremony was a wonderful way to play with the dayβs light changes, instead of going against it!
TGC Tip: When planning for multiple ceremonies in a single day, remember to consider the change in light and guests' experience as the day goes on. Ask yourself, what would look best in the light at that time of day and how are guests experiencing this transition of events. Sunlight + location can be a huge factor in setting the mood or overall vibe of a wedding. Take advantage of that difference in light to create two uniquely different ceremonies that represent the love you share with your babe! As for your guests, food, drink, + good music are always elements to consider whilst planning this long but joyous day for your favorite people!

Favorite Moments
βI think for both of us it was a day that we got to show our unique culture off. Both American and Indian and blend it into one, being us. I loved watching Logan dance through the window and seeing the tradition of Indian wedding but the sentimental simpleness of the American wedding probably was our favorite. It truly was the perfect blend. I think we both loved the American ceremony just because it felt like us and we were both really able to enjoy it, also understand what the heck was going on haha! Logan said the American ceremony was a lot more sentimental and emotional for him since itβs what he had imagined in his head.
Other than Logan and everything going on, I LOVED seeing my dad dancing and having so much fun letting lose. Something about seeing his joy just warmed my heart. Being able to share my culture with so many people that just donβt know about it and trying to get guests to enjoy it as much as possible meant a lot to me.β
